Quotes you should Know

"There should be no difference
between the way you live
and the way you cook.
In the end both are just
a game of chance. Both are
only fun if you do it with all
your heart. And both get
better with age. So live your
life to the top and let it boil over,
and remember every mistake
makes a recipe."

A theory on kitchens

First let me just say this is not my kitchen. This photo is from the website House to Home but I share it with you because it is my dream kitchen. I'm not just saying that I love this kitchen so much I want one just like it. No, I'm saying when I close my eyes I dream of this kitchen. When we drew up plans for our kitchen they came out so much like this you would have thought the same designer had worked with us. The idea that this kitchen will someday be mine fills my heart with so much excitement I could pee. But beautiful kitchens aside this post is about my Theory on kitchens and why yours is so important. There is something about cooking a meal for your family that gives you a sense of pride. Go to a party, go to a wedding, Go to a friends for dinner and where will you spend most of your time? In the kitchen. Your kitchen should be a direct reflection of your cooking relationship. Now we can't all have picture perfect kitchen that are the size of most homes but that doesn't mean you can't have a workable yet beautiful kitchen. Think of your kitchen as another living space. Bring in the things you love. This room, this sometimes too small of a room is the lifeblood of your home. Embrace it.
