exploring the nest

I love the days where we have nothing we have to do. Nowhere to go, no one to see, and so much time for us to just be.
Big Bird was suppose to go to school today but woke up with some not so wonderful poop adventures and so I decided to keep her home.

but a few hours into the day she seemed fine. So I thought maybe some fresh air and a nice hike would clear out anything left in there to go wrong. I was happy we decided to leave the house and spend the day doing whatever we so darn well pleased. I am not completely sure how many hours we stayed outside I just know that once we left the house we didn't get back inside until dinner time. The fresh air was wonderful, the hike was wonderful, and we were greeted by the most beautiful sounds I have ever heard.....the wind passing through the trees.
"Everything is on its way to somewhere." (name that movie)

and this bird strangely followed us the whole time. I'm not talking about a family of bird, I'm talking about this bird. it walked along the trail, he jumped from tree to tree, it stalked us like it was planning something or maybe it knew something. I have no idea I just know it was strange to look up and see this bird everywhere.

Do you think it's possible to know the meaning of life but never really understand it?
