Picture on Canvas.....say what?!

*WINNER*
Thanks to a wonderful game of einy-meany-miney-mo we have ourselves a winner and that lovely person is Jo.
Jo I hope you love your canvas print.

Jo, if you don't get an email from me in the next day or two please contact me though the contact tab here on diaryofanwirforcewife.com for your free canvas print.

Oh picture on canvas, how goes thee? I'm still on the fence when it comes to putting your pictures on canvas and even though the technology is old, the interest in it and the popularity that has followed is fairly new. I'll be one of the first to admit that printing on canvas has come a long ways and it seems like everywhere I turn around it gets better and better. I'm just not sure it's reached a point where I can justify spending $200 on a one photo. So when I was first approached by Easy Canvas Prints.com about doing a review and a giveaway I jumped at the thought. One, because it's always fun to do a giveaway and two because I couldn't believe their prices. I was seriously impressed with what they offered and the price they offered it at.

One thing that canvas can give you that an everyday photo in a frame can't, is real texture. No matter how much you try to reproduce it in photoshop, there is nothing like real canvas, and I have to admit that it's a little breath taking to touch and feel under your finger tips.

An option that almost every canvas printing store offers is gallery wrapped canvas. I highly (and in fact demand) that if you get a picture on canvas you do a gallery wrap. Yes it can cost you more but it is totally worth it and makes your canvas look way more finished than without. Seriously, I'm not fucking around here people, gallery wrap is where it's at. I'm still not totally sure how I feel about print on canvas but after seeing this one from Easy Canvas Prints.com I think I might be jumping on to this band wagon.

Because I love you guys so much I told the people over at Easy Canvas that the only way i'd do a review is if they offered one of you guys a free canvas print and guess what, they said yes.

I know I would want to have a picture of my daughter, Millie. I would love to see her turned into artwork. :)

i would love to have one of my wedding photos turned into a canvas, i've been wanting to for a while now, and with our finances, things just haven't worked out. but i would love to be able to do it, finally!
this is my favorite photo from our wedding portraits, the one i would love to have made into a canvas, it's of my husband and i in front of this old flying saucer (for real, it used to be a restaurant, apparently).
